With the funds raised by Pamalakaya from donors and fishing rights youth advocates, 145kg of tilapia were bought directly from the small fisherfolk of Binangonan, Rizal in Laguna Lake with 100kg of rice, were distributed to 200 urban poor families in Brgy. Old Capitol Site in Quezon City and volunteers from the urban poor community in Area 17, Brgy. UP Campus.
