DOJ asked to probe Estancia oil spill

A group of fishermen urges the Justice Department to probe into an oil spill in Estancia Iloilo, which happened during the onslaught of super typhoon Yolanda.

Power barge 103 of the National Power Corporation (Napocor) slammed into the shoreline of Barangay Botongon on November 8, destroying some houses and injuring several residents.

The Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya or Pamalakaya claims Napocor failed to meet the December 6 deadline for clean-up operations.
