During the 7th national convention of Anakpawis Party-list held in Quezon City today, the militant fishers’ group Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (PAMALAKAYA) formally declared that “small fishers across the archipelago united under the banner of PAMALAKAYA are throwing support to the party-list that genuinely represents the marginalized in the elite-dominated Congress”.

In a joint protest held by the infamous dolomite beach in Manila Baywalk today, militant fishers’ group Pambansang Lakas ng Kilusang Mamamalakaya ng Pilipinas (PAMALAKAYA), along with climate activists and environmentalists led by Youth Advocates for Climate Action Philippines (YACAP), renewed their call to terminate the order of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) to demolish fishing farms from four coastal towns in Cavite – Cavite City, Bacoor City, Noveleta, and Kawit.
